OpenStack is a solution that is deployed based on the infrastructure-as-a-service model, in which virtual servers and other resources are made available to customers.
We have become one of the few software companies in Pakistan to have successfully designed, developed and deployed an OpenStack solution based on the complex requirements for an international client.
The previous notable development of an OpenStack solution in Pakistan was carried out in the summer of 2016 by Nayatel, who are a leading provider of fibre to the home services (FFTH) here in Pakistan.
Our client, who is based in Cyprus, approached us with a complex set of requirements that were a challenge for our company. Our team were excited for the opportunity to work on this project, since it gave us the opportunity to work on OpenStack to build something exciting for the B2C ecommerce space.
The project itself was related to the analysis, design, development and deployment of a complete solution that would enable our client to launch their cloud-hosting provider business and open their doors for their customers from all over the world.
After having worked with a number of other software companies who were unable to take their project, our client approached us towards the end of 2018 with the hope that we would be able to deliver it for them.
The team assigned to deliver this project had to navigate a series of complex technical obstacles that seemed at times to be insurmountable, but keeping in mind our can-do attitude here at Glowlogix, the team worked through these obstacles and overcame them one by one. One aspect of this particular project that certainly made it challenging for our team was the lack of technical support for implementing some of the requirements that were an absolute must for our client to be able to launch their business.
Too often, clients have a poor experience with software companies who are unable to deliver the complete set of requirements for a specific project.
However, this is not how we work here at Glowlogix, and our CEO Mr. Muhammad Usama Masood encourages the cultivation of a client-focused attitude across the entire company, in which we work with all of our clients, no matter how small or big, to ensure that the solutions we deliver provide our clients with the maximum business value as per their requirements.
Fast forward six months later, and we are proud to have joined the ranks of the very few Pakistani software companies that possess the technical experience to be able to deliver a complex software solution based on OpenStack.
